Ludacris's wife Eudoxie reveals she had a miscarriage this year

She wed Ludacris in 2014 and the couple share a three-year-old daughter.

But has revealed in an Instagram post that she miscarried a second child earlier this year.

She shared a photo of herself and her rapper and actor husband to mark her birthday and made the heartbreaking revelation of her loss.

'This year didn’t necessarily start off right for us,' Mbouguiengue wrote in the picture caption.

'I had a miscarriage and needed to have surgery. It was very easy to complain and self pity but I refused to let the enemy win. I stayed faithful and prayed up. I spent hours focusing on the many ways the Lord has blessed me.'

'My faith has been tested many times throughout my life but I’m only getting stronger. Life will not always go as planned and keeping a positive and grateful attitude will only bring more and bigger blessings,' she said.

'Thank you God for your favor over my life. Thank you for my beautiful family and friends who have been so supportive. Thank you for another year!!' she concluded.   

In addition to his daughter with Mbouguiengue, Ludacris is also father to daughters Karma, 16, and Cai, 5, from previous relationships.

He also posted the same photo, taken at the Atlanta gaming parlor The Painted Duck during her birthday bash, to his Instagram and wrote: 'Of course I let her win. that’s what loving husbands do.'

Back in December 2017, Ludacris - real name Chris Bridges - said he was hoping to add to his family in the coming year.  

'My New Year’s resolution is to get a boy, believe it or not,' he told People. 'We’re going to try one more time. So all next year I’m going to be trying to get a boy.'
